Each group will be required to compile their own wiki page with essential information about the book they are reading. The pages will serve as a record of your thinking and discussions in class.
Throughout the unit, each member of the group will be required to post ideas and information about the novel to the group's wiki resource page. Those are listed on the calendar of due dates. In addition, the groups will work together to revise and expand upon the information gathered on the wiki in order to complete the following criteria.
Here is the reading schedule for each title:
Frankenstein: pp. 9-58 by April 1; pp. 59-116 by April 8; pp. 117-186 by April 22
Black Boy: pp. 1-77 by April 1; pp. 78-144 by April 8; pp. 145-257 by April 22
The Color of Water: pp. 1-83 by April 1; pp. 85-176 by April 8; pp. 177-285 by April 22

This space has served as a continuous resource for Mr. Miller's English 10 class at BHS. During the year, we have used this wiki to compile information we gathered for a multimedia presentation about growing up. That page, along with links to all student pages, can be found here.
Next, we worked in groups to compile information about the dystopian novels we read - 1984 and Fahrenheit 451. That page, along with the links to each group's page, can be found here.
